An established architect with 30 years of experience in designing different types of buildings, which include civic centres, retail stores and custom hillside homes, Richard has set his sights towards conquering the booming real estate market in the region – through the opportunity presented to him by ‘Hydra Executives’. He believes that he can bring fresh design ideas, with focus on incorporating eco-friendly initiatives to the UAE, which is in line with the current trend in the real estate revolution in the country.

Richard aims to leverage the growing interest of the local properties sector, especially in Abu Dhabi, in new ways of designing built environments. He envisions this part of the world as a place where excellence can be easily achieved given the right amount of dedication and hard work, due to the presence of immense and readily available resources.

Richard is a self confessed fan of the Ayn Rand novel, ‘The Fountainhead’, which chronicles the life of a young architect who chose to struggle in obscurity rather than compromise his artistic and personal vision by adhering to the prevailing fads in building design. He appreciates the music of Rolling Stones, Sticky Fingers and Neil Young and enjoys playing tennis, chess, snow skiing, motocross and painting.
