“I know what works and what does not,” says Maureen, who has worked in sales and customer service and the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. At present, she is a freelance make-up artist, who is looking for new challenges that exceeds those that she has already overcome.

“My instincts are strong and I’ve learned to trust them. This is not something that can be taught nor learned. Strong intuition and instinct are priceless. You can take these qualities and use them to your advantage in all aspects of life, in any situation, be it personal or professional,” adds Maureen when asked about her strategy for the game. “I am resilient, strong, creative and determined. I will rely on my inner strength and a deep belief in my abilities and a strong sense of worth.” Guided by her ‘instincts’, Maureen has ventured into the UAE with confidence that she will find the excitement that she is seeking.

So far, the people, the food, the music, the desert has kept her in awe of the beauty of the place, especially Abu Dhabi. A true music lover at heart, she enjoys the songs of Bob Dylan Billie Holiday and Janis Joplin.
