Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim, the CEO of Hydra Properties, is part of new generation of young UAE business leaders. As one of the top businessmen and real estate developers today, Al Fahim was on the Arabian Business Magazine’s 2006 list of the 100 most powerful Arabs. Better known for linking global challenges to business development, Dr. Sulaiman has led Hydra Properties to become an icon in less than two year.

Aged 30, Dr. Sulaiman is a visionary professional and philanthropist whose many contributions and innovations have shaped both the industry and the region. His desire to use innovative processes to contribute to better community environments —not just produce a better building — has also been exemplified in the ideals of the Visionary Award he recently received at the Middle East CEO 2007 Awards. The award is symbolic of the importance Hydra Properties attaches to visionary community development as the company moves ahead to change the face of the real estate industry not only in the UAE but internationally. Al Fahim’s mission is to build distinct globally comparable quality residential & commercial projects.

He comes from a solid family history in the real estate business, and has almost a decade of experience in the local and international real estate development industry. At the early age of eighteen, he went straight into the business himself.

Al Fahim received his PhD in Real Estate investment and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Kogod School of Business from the American University in Washington DC and has undertaken executive studies at various business schools in USA.

Dr. Sulaiman’s most creative endeavour to date will be the launch of The Hydra Executives, a business themed TV Reality Series in the Spring of 2008. As the founder and host of The Hydra Executives, Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim, will help guide 16 US and British contestants as they go through their various business dealing for four months until the winning contestant gets up to a million dollars and the chance to create his own Abu Dhabi based real estate business venture.
